1. The Smell Test
Almost everyone in the world can likely recognize the smell that comes from products made from leather. While this smell can be replicated, it's not an easy task to do so and most manufacturers of fake leather goods don't bother to go to that extreme as most of their focus is on creating low cost goods in high volumes. There are two ways to check the texture of the leather to ensure it's real. The first way is to check the surface of the product for skin pores - cows and other animals have skin pores in the same way that humans do, so these pores should be clearly visible on closer inspection. Again a real hide would also have some minor imperfections in the skin from the tanning process whereas fake leather will have a uniform and flawless texture throughout - this is impossible with genuine leather.
You'll also need to check the texture of the leather at the rear side but this is generally only possible where the product has a lining that you can separate with your fingers or an area where in the product's construction, the back of the leather was left exposed. If you can actually pull the lining away from the leather itself (without tearing it obviously) you should be able to feel a rough texture in the case of real leather. In the case of fake leather you'll feel either a smooth fabric texture or something that feels like plastic to the touch.
5. Too Good Of A Deal To Be True?
Producing genuine leather products takes the work of an artisan and many hours of actual work so if you're getting what are purported to be genuine leather products at 50% or less of what you'd expect to pay in any store then those same leather good are either stolen or fake. Use your common sense and gut instinct - they're part of your physiology for a reason. If it sounds too good to be true then you can be sure it is.

Associate with those who increase your self love and shun those who reduce it.

We must not let our self love ride on the vagaries of the job market, or any other market for that matter. You need to know, deep inside, that you are a great guy or gal whether rich or poor, employed or unemployed, thriving or struggling...

Self help guru Louise Hay advises us to to tell yourself how much you love you at least 300 to 400 times daily. Make it your mantra, she urges. Hay notes she has personally seen hundreds of people transform their lives with this simple but powerful habit.

Hay's advice may sound extreme and impractical. It isn't. Think of the thousands of negative thoughts we typical;ly think each day, without being aware of them. I suggest you dedicate 10 minutes in the morning, upon awaking, and 10 minutes before bed, to telling yourself you love or appreciate yourself. With passion!

Make a habit of it; just as many people make a habit of exercising regularly. There are few better ways to use your time and building your self love. I suggest you have a friend, who owns their own business (and who is not known by your references) call them; pose as a potential employer or client, and ask their opinion of you. They can report to you what was said.

Therefore, I would say that strategy is, "the intent to act, the volition to act, and the design to achieve plans of action as they relate to the direction and future of your business." Strategy development is a long-term process that is evolutionary and it should be evaluated yearly, quarterly, and more if conditions warrant a strategy session.

We will evaluate briefly the ten major areas of strategy creation as they relate to you achieving your goal. These ten areas will be listed and broken down to help you evaluate and reevaluate your current position in strategy design. They will be listed logically as they relate to an idea in your head and build upon that. In addition, the creation of a strategy is not a single day event. It takes time to gather what you know is needed and what you find is needed once you begin. We begin at the beginning. You should at this point have a vision and goals developed to help guide your organization in fulfilling its purpose.

What organizations are buying our service?
Who uses it regularly?
How do we expand the diversity of the group?
Your target customer is the person you have identified as the one who is most likely to purchase your products, according to This is a specific person, who is elated to use your product/service when needed or desired. Be very narrow in your description here, as it will provide clarity. Examples would include specific age, specific education, and specific income. These identifiers are so spot-on that a picture could be painted of the individual without negating the various individualities of who uses your service.

Market Served

This is an expansion of the above and is a broader category of client or customer base. This will be larger demographics through a range and not specific. Each product or service may cater to different aspects of the market served and they should be listed in conjunction with your product/service. Target market should also list the reason why these specific customers are likely to buy. In addition, this information will help in creating a primary component of your marketing plan.


Technology is how you use information to create and maintain a competitive advantage. The planning associated with this is a tie in for numerous other aspects of your organizations success. Technology is used in commerce, in design, and much more. Your organization marketing will also take into account the use of technology to deliver your value proposition.

4) Fan of the Week - This app is a great way to show some love for you most active fans on your Facebook fan pages. Each week, the software evaluates which of your fans was the most engaging on your profile, and will reward the fan by announcing them as the "Fan of the Week". This is an easy and automated way to keep your followers happy!

5) Hub Spot Blog Topic Generator - One of the most challenging parts about social media is coming up with stuff to post about. This includes coming up with blogs to syndicate on your social media. With this tool, you can enter in a couple words related to what you want to write about, and it will generate a list of blog topic ideas for you.

6) Canva - Unless you're a graphic designer, creating branded graphics for your social media posts can be a pain in the neck (and if you hire people to do it for you, it can cost a pretty penny). I'm techy, but I'm not a designer, so what I do instead is use Canva to create my social media graphics. I customize their Free Layouts with my brand colors, images of myself, and quotes or messages that would resonate with my followers.

7) WooBox - This one's pretty neato, because you can do quite a lot with it: Contests, Coupons, Quizzes, Polls, Social Media Landing Pages, and more. But the social media "hack" and time saver feature they one that allows you to set it up so that whatever you post on your Fan Page automatically posts to your Twitter. Now, the downside of this is that your content on these platforms is the same (so why should someone bother to follow you on Twitter?) and if you post a longer post, it'll show up weird on Twitter. But, if you're super strapped for time, keep the length of your posts in mind, and set up another means for why people should follow you on Twitter (ie. giving followers a unique freebie for Twitter followers only, using Tweet Adders Direct Messaging feature mentioned in #1), then it's totally worth it.
